The early season ‘Greased line special’. These trips are a great way to beat the early season heat of July and August. Skip the long sunshine period of hot sink tip fishing or extra long mid-day siestas.

These trips start early afternoon one day and fish a full evening session, followed by a late dinner and early breakfast. Fishing continues with a crack of dawn start and as much shade as we can find before ending mid day the second day.

Early season can be some of the best dry fly fishing of the year, and these trips are a great way to maximize your time with the floating line in a short period.

Being private, these trips are great for groups that don’t want anyone else in camp with them. Great for families and kids as well. When you book a private camp it will just be you and your buddies. We fish hard each morning and evening with a nice lunch break between. As the season gets later, the breaks get shorter!

Being a private trip, it’s easier to cater towards any special needs or desires. Dry flies only? perfect. Mix in some trout fishing? You got it.

These trips provide all meals cooked by me…. and while I may not be a trained chef, you won’t go hungry!

This is the best trip we offer! I say ‘we’ as these trips will be two jet boat trips in conjunction with one of the other Jet Boat guides on the river. 6 anglers, two guides, and a professional chef to make sure we’re well taken care of. The camaraderie on these camps can’t be beat.

We’ll fish hard each morning and evening, with a nice lunchtime break between the two sessions. There is nothing like a river side siesta after a nice lunch to recharge for the evening session of chasing steelhead.

We can accommodate groups from 1-6 for these trips, and anglers of any experience level. These are great trips to come by yourself or with a buddy or two and meet other like minded anglers.
