Nam Rods
With a great sense of humility, Nam products embodies a company willing to learn and grow.
It was, and still is, the small group of people involved in the company that made me want to be a part of it.
A desire to build the best products we can, and a willingness to listen and learn from those using our products is a strong foundation. The fact that every single person involved with Nam is a die hard fisherman or guide doesn’t hurt either!

Einarsson Reels
Nam is taking the popular Icelandic company Einarsson Reels and updating it just a bit. Modernized dimensions, updated finishes, and an non-ported version specifically to balance better with two handed rods.
Nam is still early in the process of updating the Einarsson lineup, and will be releasing further sizes and models as we get them perfected!

Nam Lines
Hazumi running line and Zentai leader have created far more buzz than I anticipated. I was a Berkley Big Game and Maxima Ultragreen guy forever…. but have been not-so-easily converted myself.
Yes, I work for Nam Products, but I still wouldn’t be able to rig my clients rods with it if the running line sucked and the leader material broke!
It’s the people
The guy casting here is Mikael Österberg. He’s just one of the 8-10 people in the Nam Products family. He’s a badass. He handles customer support and repairs for Europe. He lives a short drive from the most intimidating river I’ve ever tried to fish, and he knows how to attack it. You don’t want to fish behind him.
Custom Builds Available
I’ve been enamored with rod building for a long time, and had the good fortune of getting to learn from some of the best. The bulk of my rod building is prototype work for Nam Products, but will take custom rod building orders as well.
